LAND OF 1949.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
WHEREVER AUTHORITY IS CONFERRED BY CHAP-
TER 992 OF THE LAWS OF MARYLAND OF 1943 ON
THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND
PLANNING COMMISSION TO CONDUCT BUILDING
INSPECTIONS OR TO ENFORCE BUILDING AND
ZONING ORDINANCES IN PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY, SAID AUTHORITY SHALL BE DEEMED TO
BE CONFERRED UPON THE COUNTY COMMISSION-
ERS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, AND SAID
COMMISSION SHALL BE RELIEVED FROM THE
EXERCISE OF ANY SUCH AUTHORITY, FROM AND
AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT, AND
THEREUPON SHALL TRANSFER TO THE COUNTY
ALL OF ITS RECORDS RELATING TO ENFORCE-
MENT OF BUILDING AND ZONING ORDINANCES IN
SAID COUNTY.

SEC. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(Senate Bill 407)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
99 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title
"Hours and Days for Sale", removing from said section
a provision specifying that other provisions of said sub-
title shall not be applicable to said section.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 99 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Hours and Days for Sale", be and it is hereby
