ciation for 267. 50 acres of land, by deed dated the 24th
day of May, 1881, and recorded in Liber E. B. P. 24 at
folio 73 among said Land Records, and running thence
with the remainder of said eleventh line, N. 17 degrees 35'
W. 1019. 70 feet, thence with the twelfth line, S. 71 degrees
00' W. 864. 60 feet, thence with a part of the thirteenth line
S. 09 degrees 30' W. 2130. 42 feet, thence to include a part

to the end of the first line of a conveyance from Edward
H. Barber, Jr., to Vincent Murray Tabler by deed dated

at folio 416 among said Land Records, thence with the

side of the public road leading from Gaithersburg to Lay-
tonsville, thence bounding on said Road, N. 37 degrees 00'

feet, thence leaving said Road, with the westerly line of
the first mentioned conveyance for 1. 0 acres to Downs,

line of said parcel, N. 72 degrees 25' E. 100. 00 feet to the
place of beginning, and containing Forty-six and Three-
Quarters (46¾) acres of land more or less, excepting,
however, all that lot or parcel hereof, as conveyed by the
said Washington Grove Camp Meeting Association to the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission by deed dated
the 24th day of May, 1927, and recorded in Liber 428 at
folio 180 among said Land Records.
(b). All of the provisions of the laws of Maryland per-
taining to the Town of Washington Grove and all of the
ordinances heretofore enacted by the Mayor and Town
Council of the Town of Washington Grove are extended
and made applicable to the said territory annexed by this
section to said Town of Washington Grove.
(c). All property, real and personal, in said territory
so annexed shall be subject to assessment, levy and taxa-
tion for all proper purposes, including the payment of
interest upon the retirement of the principal of bonds of
