SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 615
(Senate Bill 347)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Montgomery County
Code (1950 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Washington Grove", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 115-4A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 115-4 of said Code, to extend the
boundaries of the Town of Washington Grove, to include
a certain area in Montgomery County.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the
Charter of the Town of Washington Grove in Montgomery
County, Maryland, a majority of more than two-thirds
of the voters of said town on July 14, 1951, approved the
annexation of certain land to said town as hereinafter
described; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Mont-
gomery County Code (1950 Edition), being Article 16 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Mont-
gomery County", sub-title "Washington Grove", said new
section to be known as Section 115-4A, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 115-4 of said Code, and to read as
follows:

115-4A. (a). The boundaries of said Town of Wash-
ington Grove are hereby extended to include the following
area in Montgomery County, which is hereby added to said
Town: All of that tract or tracts or parcels of land lying
in Montgomery County known as part of Crabb's Fortress
comprising 46¾ acres more or less, owned by the Town of
Washington Grove as of July 14, 1951, and bordered on
the east by the Gaithersburg-Laytonsville Road.
