THEODORE R. MCKELDIN, GOVERNOR 1077

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sub-sections (f) and (g-a) of Section 40
of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact",
sub-title "State's Attorney", be and they are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

40.

(f) The State's Attorneys of Harford, St. Mary's, and
Talbot [and Wicomico] Counties shall each receive an an-
nual salary of $3, 000.

The State's Attorney of St. Mary's County shall be
allowed Six Hundred Dollars ($600. 00) annually for clerical
expenses.

(g-a) The State's Attorneys of Cecil [County] and
Wicomico Counties
shall receive an annual salary of $4, 000.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(House Bill 899)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
100 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County", sub-
title "County Commissioners", as said section was
amended by Chapter 610 of the Acts of 1947, increasing
the salary of the Clerk to the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Allegany County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 100 of Article 1 of the Code of

gany County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said
