WHEREAS, Sections 298, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337 and 462
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County
(1947 Edition) are now no longer necessary, now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 298, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337 and
462 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1947 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County"
sub-titles "Eastport", "Friendship", "Galesville", and
"Roads", be and the same are repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
sections (i) and (j) of Section 24 of Article 17 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Clerks of Courts, " sub-title "General Duties of Clerks, "
relating to the annual salary of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sub-section (i) and (j) of Section 24 of
Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "Clerks of Courts, " sub-title "General Duties
of Clerks, " be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

24.

(i). The Clerks of the Circuit [Courts] Court of [Cecil
and] Wicomico [Counties] County shall [each] be en-
titled to receive an annual salary of $5, 000.

(j) The Clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County
and Cecil County shall each be entitled to receive an annual
salary of $5, 400.
