"Condensed skimmed milk" shall include sweetened con-
densed skimmed milk and evaporated skimmed milk and
shall be manufactured from pure and wholesome skimmed
milk and shall contain not less than 20 percent of milk
solids and not more than one-half percent of fat.
"Dry milk solids" shall include dry whole milk, dry
buttermilk, dry cream and non-fat dry milk solids, shall be
manufactured from pure and wholesome milk, skimmed
milk, buttermilk or cream and shall contain no substance
foreign to milk.
Each package or container in which condensed milk,
condensed skimmed milk or dry milk solids are sold, offered
for sale or delivered shall be clearly and accurately labeled
in letters not smaller or less distinct than any others except
the brand or trade name, to show the exact type of product.
Whoever by himself or another shall manufacture, sell,
exchange, deliver, advertise, label, expose or offer for sale,
any condensed milk, condensed skimmed milk or dry milk
solids, or any product in imitation or semblance of any of
them, whether under a distinctive name or otherwise, in
violation of any of the provisions of this section, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall
be fined not less than Twenty-five Dollars nor more than
One Hundred Dollars or be imprisoned for not more than
thirty days or may be both fined and imprisoned.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1954.
