To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
210 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1951 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an Election held in Caroline
County, on Tuesday May 19,1953, an Act known as Chapter
79 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1953,
was submitted to the voters of Caroline County, for their
adoption or rejection, under the provisions of Chapter 79 of
the Acts of 1953, said Act being:

"An Act authorizing the exhibition of Motion Pictures
on Sunday, after two o'clock P. M,".

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 2,078 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 79 of the Acts of
1953 and 1,372 votes were cast against the adoption of the
said Act; and a majority being cast in favor of the adoption
of said Chapter 79 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1953, the Act has, therefore, been ratified by the voters of
Caroline County.
