this Act shall be paid for the period beginning January 1,. 1951,
and continuing thereafter.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 4 and 5 of Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages", sub-titles "Manufacturer's Licenses" and
"Wholesaler's Licenses", and to enact in lieu thereof three
new sections to be known as Sections 4, 5 and 5A and to be
under a new sub-title "Manufacturer's and Wholesaler's
Licenses", relating to the granting of manufacturer's and
wholesaler's licenses for alcoholic beverages.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 4 and 5 of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages", sub-titles "Manufacturer's Licenses" and "Whole-
saler's Licenses", be and the same are hereby repealed; and
that three new sections be and they are hereby enacted in lieu
thereof, to be known as Sections 4, 5 and 5A and to be under
a new sub-title "Manufacturer's and Wholesaler's Licenses",
and to read as follows:

MANUFACTURER'S AND WHOLESALER'S LICENSES

4. (a) The following classes of manufacturer's licenses shall
be issued at the designated annual fees:

Class 1 Distillery Annual Fee $1, 500. 00

Class 2 Rectifying Annual Fee 500. 00

Class 3 Winery Annual Fee 500. 00

Class 4 Limited Winery Annual Fee 50. 00

Class 5 Brewery Annual Fee 1, 000. 00

(b) Distillery License. A Class 1 Manufacturer's License
shall be designated as a Distillery License and shall authorize
