5. No evidence in the trial of misdemeanors shall be deemed
admissible where the same shall have been procured by,
through, or in consequence of any illegal search or seizure or
of any search and seizure prohibited by the Declaration of
Eights of this State; nor shall any evidence in such cases be
admissible if procured by, through or in consequence of a
search and seizure, the effect of the admission of which would
be to compel one to give evidence against himself in a criminal
case; provided, however, that nothing in this section shall
prohibit the use of such evidence in Baltimore County, and in
Baltimore City, ALLEGANY, ANNE ARUNDEL, CARO-
LINE, CARROLL, CECIL, FREDERICK, HARFORD,
KENT, MONTGOMERY, PRINCE GEORGE'S, QUEEN
ANNE'S, TALBOT, WASHINGTON, AND WICOMICO
AND WORCESTER COUNTIES, in the prosecution of any
person for unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 146
(House Bill 80)
AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition, being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Prince George's County", said new section to be added to
the Charter of the Town of Bladensburg, as said Charter was
enacted by Chapter 341 of the Acts of 1947, to be known as
Section 57D, to follow immediately after Section 57C
thereof, and to be under the sub-title "Bladensburg", per-
mitting the levy of a special tax upon property within said
Town in order to provide land and buildings for any lawful
municipal purpose and defining the terms and conditions
under which any such tax may be imposed, authorizing the
Town to borrow money for such purposes and making the
imposition of any such tax subject to a referendum of the
voters of Bladensburg.
