To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, VIVIAN V. SIMPSON, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 203
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the Town
of Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland, on Tuesday, April
4, 1950 an Act known as Chapter 99 of the Acts of 1950, was
submitted to the voters of the said Town of Mt. Savage, for
their adoption or rejection under the provisions of Article 16
of the Constitution of the State, said Act being:

An Act to create a special taxing area or District to be
known as Mt. Savage Special Tax Area, providing for
a Citizens' Committee and for the levying of a tax for
street lights.

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 221 votes were cast in

favor of the adoption of Chapter 99 of the Acts of 1950, and 87
votes were cast against the adoption of the said Act, and a
majority being cast in favor of the said referred law, it has
therefore been ratified by the voters of Mt. Savage.
