To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, VIVIAN V. SIMPSON, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 203
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election held in
the State of Maryland, on November 7, 1950, an Act known as
Chapter 153 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1949, was submitted to the voters of Wicomico County, for
their adoption or rejection under the provisions of Article 16
of the Constitution of the State, said Act being:

An Act to authorize the exhibition of baseball and motion
pictures within Wicomico County, between the hours of
1: 00 p. m., and 7: 00 p. m., and 9: 00 p. m., and midnight on
Sundays.

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 4, 777 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 153 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of 1949, and 3, 910 votes were cast against the
adoption of the said referred law, and a majority being cast
for the adoption of the said Act it has therefore been ratified by
the voters of Wicomico County.
