STATE OF MARYLAND


OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE


To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:


I, VIVIAN V. SIMPSON, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 203
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election held in
the State of Maryland, on November 7, 1950, an Act known as
Chapter 170 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
was submitted to the voters in the 2nd, 9th, 21st and 1st, dis-
tricts of Prince George's County, for their adoption or rejection
under the provisions of Article 16 of the Constitution of the
State, said Act being:


An Act providing for the levying of fire tax in the said
districts.


AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election the following votes
were cast:


Surratts District, For the Fire Tax 236 votes were cast and
against the Fire Tax, 150 votes were cast.

Berwyn District: For the Fire Tax 1, 612 votes were cast and
against the Fire Tax, 645 votes were cast.

Bladensburg District: For the Fire Tax 2, 598 votes were cast
and against the Fire Tax 742 votes were cast.

Vansville District: For the Fire Tax 316 votes were cast
and against the Fire Tax 82 votes were cast:

A Majority of the votes in the said Districts of Prince
George's County, having been cast in favor of the adoption of
the said Chapter 170 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1949, the said referred law has therefore been ratified by the
voters of the said Districts of Prince George's County.


IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
scribed my name and affixed my Official Seal,
Done at the City of Annapolis, this 20th day

of November, in the Year of Our Lord, One

Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty.
