Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supp. ), title "Health",
sub-title "Chiropractic", RELATING TO RENEWAL LI-
CENSES FOR CHIROPRACTORS AND increasing the per
diem compensation of the Chiropractic Board.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That SECTION 450 AND Sub-section (c) of Section 451
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Sup-
plement), title "Health", sub-title "Chiropractic", be and the
same is ARE hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
450. ALL PERSONS HOLDING A LICENSE ISSUED BY
THE MARYLAND STATE BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC
EXAMINERS, WHETHER A RESIDENT OF THIS STATE
OR OF SOME OTHER STATE, SHALL PAY ON OR BE-
FORE THE FIRST DAY OF SEPTEMBER OF EACH
YEAR, AFTER A LICENSE IS ISSUED TO THEM, AS
HEREIN PROVIDED, TO SAID BOARD OF CHIROPRAC-
TIC EXAMINERS, A RENEWAL LICENSE FEE OF TEN
($10. 00) DOLLARS. THE SECRETARY - TREASURER
SHALL, THIRTY DAYS OR MORE BEFORE SEPTEMBER
1ST OF EACH YEAR MAIL TO ALL CHIROPRACTORS
HOLDING A MARYLAND LICENSE A NOTICE OF THE
FACT THAT THE RENEWAL FEE WILL BE DUE ON OR
BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SEPTEMBER, AND THE
BOARD SHALL FURNISH TO EACH CHIROPRACTOR A
"RENEWAL FORM. " NOTHING IN THIS SUB-TITLE
SHALL BE CONSTRUED SO AS TO REQUIRE THAT THE
RECEIPTS SHALL BE RECORDED AS ORIGINAL LI-
CENSES ARE REQUIRED TO BE RECORDED.

(c) The members of said Board shall receive a per diem
of [five ($5. 00)] Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00) for each day
during which they shall be actually engaged in the discharge
of their duties, and mileage at the rate established by the
Board of Public Works necessarily traveled in going to and
from any meeting of said Board, and for the further discharge
of their duties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
