period for receiving applications the Commission shall issue
such additional licenses, within the limits set, to [be chosen
by lot from among the qualified applications received during
the period designated for receiving applications, or from the
qualified applications for each particular area. ] those appli-
cants, qualified in all other respects, who have qualified for
each particular area and who have had qualified applications
on file for the longest period of time, including time in prior
years that such applicants shall have had qualified applications
on file.
The Commission shall by regulation fix the number of
nets that may be licensed to any one applicant under this sec-
tion.

63B. Before issuing any license the Commission shall collect
the following license fees:

POUND NETS

In Chesapeake Bay, [15. 00] $10. 00 for the first net and
. 00] $5. 00 for each additional net.

In the tributaries of Chesapeake Bay, [$2. 00] $5. 00 for the
first net, [$1. 00] $2. 50 for additional net.

In Chincoteague, Sinepuxent, Isle of Wight and Assawoman
Bays and their tributaries, and in the Atlantic Ocean within
three miles of the Maryland Shore, [$5. 00]| $10. 00 for each net.

HAUL SEINES

In Chesapeake Bay and tributaries, [$3. 00] $15. 00 for each
net.

In Chincoteague, Sinepuxent, Isle of Wight and Assawoman
Bays and their tributaries, and in the Atlantic Ocean within
three mile of the Maryland Shore, [$5. 00] $15. 00 for each net.

ANCHORED GILL NETS

Whenever used, $3. 00 for the first [1, 000] 500 feet, [50¢]
$1. 00 for each additional [1, 000] 500 feet, or fraction thereof.

DRIFT GILL NETS

In Chesapeake Bay, Chincoteague, Sinepuxent, Isle of Wight
and Assawoman Bays and their tributaries, and in the Atlantic
Ocean within three miles of the Maryland Shore, [$3. 00]
$10. 00 for each 500 yards, or fraction thereof.

In the tributaries of Chesapeake Bay, [$1. 00 for each 500
yards, or fraction thereof. ] $5. 00 for the first 150 yards on
boat, and $2. 50 for each additional 150 yards on boat.
