as Sub-section (c) and to follow immediately after Sub-section
(b) of said Section 45, and to read as follows:

(c) It shall be unlawful at any time for any person to haul
a seine for the catching or taking of fish north or east or in
shore from a straight line drawn between Benoni's Point and
Chlora's Point.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
181, 182, 183, 184, 185 and 187 of Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Governor—
Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title "State
Civil Defense", as said sections were enacted by Chapter
563 of the Acts of 1949, making the State Civil Defense
Agency a separate and independent agency of the State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 181, 182, 183, 184, 185 and 187 of Article 41
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-
title "State Civil Defense", as said sections were enacted by
Chapter 563 of the Acts of 1949, be and they are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
181. (State Civil Defense Agency. ) (a) The Governor is
hereby authorized and directed to create a Civil Defense Agency
[under the Adjutant General and upon the recommendation
of the Adjutant General] and to appoint a Director of Civil
Defense who shall be the administrator thereof. The Director
