ing, provided, however, that the County Commissioners
shall approve all purchases of equipment.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
27A of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", as said section was amended
by Chapter 15 of the Acts of 1951, relating to the payment
to be made to the Treasurer of Prince George's County for
the duties imposed upon him by said section, and eliminating
an obsolete provision.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 27A of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
title "Administration—Registration—Titling", as said section
was amended by Chapter 15 of the Acts of 1951, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
27A. (a) The County Treasurer of each county in this State,
shall act as the agent of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles
in the registration of motor vehicles of the Class A passenger
or pleasure type and all motor trucks which are privately
owned and not operated for hire and the issuance of metal
plates or markers, as provided in Section 27 of this Article, in
like manner as if application had been made at the office of the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. Each County Treasurer shall
remit to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles at the close of
each week all fees collected by him for the registration of motor
vehicles, together with a complete record of such registration
made by him during each day, except the fifteen cent fee paid
