to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 of said
Act, all relating to the school building fund of Somerset
County and to the expenditure of the monies in said Fund.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 3 and 7 of Chapter 698 of the Acts of
1949 be and they are hereby repealed; that Sections 4, 5, 6, 8
and 8A of said Chapter 698 be and they are hereby re-numbered
to read Sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 thereof; and that Section 6 of
said Act be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
SEC. [6] 5. All moneys used in Somerset County under
the provisions of this Act shall be expended only for con-
struction or other capital improvements of the public school
buildings in said County, [as allocated hereinabove. ] for the
purchase and acquisition of furniture and equipment for the
said public school buildings and for the purchase and acquisi-
tion of land for such school buildings and to be used in con-
nection therewith. PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT IN THE
ALLOCATION OF THE SAID MONIES THE SUM OF AT
LEAST $204, 150. 00 SHALL BE EXPENDED FOR SUCH
PURPOSES AT THE COLORED SCHOOL IN CRISFIELD,
AND THE SUM OF AT LEAST $204, 150. 00 SHALL BE EX-
PENDED FOR SUCH PURPOSES AT THE COLORED
SCHOOL IN PRINCESS ANNE.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
