SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 624
(Senate Bill 432)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages, " sub-title "Restrictions Upon Licen-
sees, " said new section to be known as Section 112A
and to follow immediately after Section 112 of said
Article, relating to the employment of minors in con-
nection with the sale of alcoholic beverages or permit-
ting certain minors to loiter about premises where alco-
holic beverages are sold.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title "Restrictions
Upon Licensees, " said new section to be known as Section
112A, to follow immediately after Section 112 of said Ar-
ticle, and to read as follows:

112A. (a) Worcester County. In Worcester County it
shall be unlawful for any licensee under this Article to
employ any person under the age of twenty-one years in
the sale of alcoholic beverages, unless permit so to do is
obtained from the Sheriff and State's Attorney of Worces-
ter County.

(b) It shall be unlawful for any licensee under this Ar-
ticle to allow any minor or minors under the age of twen-
ty-one years to loaf or loiter about the place of business
for which such license is issued; restaurants may, how-
ever, serve meals without alcoholic beverages to minors.

(c) Any person or persons, upon indictment and con-
viction of violation of any of the provisions of this section,
shall be fined a sum not in excess of Two Hundred Dollars
