are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to contribute to the Annapolis Emergency
Hospital Association, a Maryland non-profit corporation
operating Anne Arundel General Hospital in the City of
Annapolis, a sum not exceeding $600, 000. 00 in order to
finance in part the erection of an addition and the construc-
tion of alterations and improvements to said hospital; to
authorize the said County Commissioners at any time within
ten years from the effective date of this Act, to contribute a
sum not exceeding $600, 000. 00 in order to finance in whole
or in part the erecting of a hospital in the Fifth District of
Anne Arundel County; to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County to provide said
contributions by borrowing, upon the faith and credit of
said County, a sum not exceeding $1, 200, 000. 00 and to issue
30-year 4 per cent bonds as evidence of said loan to be
known as "Anne Arundel General Hospital Bonds of 1951, "
the proceeds to be derived therefrom to be used for part of
the cost of erecting an addition and alterations, improvement
and enlargement to Anne Arundel General Hospital and
for erecting and furnishing a new hospital in the Fifth
District of Anne Arundel County; to provide for the repay-
ment of said bonds and the interest thereon by a general tax
levy against all of the taxable property within the County;
and to provide for appointment of two members of the Board
of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County to the
Board of Managers of Annapolis Emergency Hospital Asso-
