SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-sections (e) and (i) of Section 38A of Article 25
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
title "County Commissioners, " sub-title "County Treas-
urers, " as said section was amended by Chapter 548 of the
Acts of 1949, be and they are hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:

38A.

(e) The County Treasurers of Caroline, Kent, [Queen
Anne's] and Worcester Counties shall each receive an an-
nual salary of $2, 400. 00.

(i) The County Treasurers of Dorchester, Queen
Anne's, Talbot and Wicomico Counties shall each receive
an annual salary of $3, 000. 00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

(Senate Bill 418)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Carroll County, " said new section to be known as Sec-
tion 161A, to follow immediately after Section 161
thereof and to be under the sub-title "Manchester, " pro-
viding for the payment of an expense allowance to the
Mayor and each Councilman of the Town of Manchester.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Carroll County, " said new section to be known
as Section 161A, to follow immediately after Section 161
thereof and to be under the sub-title "Manchester, " and
to read as follows:
