(House Bill 657)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
605 A (a) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Fire Companies", and to add
a new sub section to Section 605B thereof, as said sec-
tions were amended by Chapter 170 of the Acts of 1949,
said new sub section to be known as Sub-section (i) and
to follow immediately after Sub section (h) of said sec-
tion, relating to the levy and distribution of a special fire
tax in the Fifth Election District of Prince George's
County, and providing for a referendum or petition
thereon. THREE NEW SUB - SECTIONS TO SEC-
TION 605B THEREOF, AS SAID SECTIONS WERE
AMENDED BY CHAPTER 170 OF THE ACTS OF 1949,
SAID NEW SUB-SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS SUB-
SECTIONS (I), (J) AND (K), RESPECTIVELY, AND
TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER SUB-SECTION
(H) OF SAID SECTION, RELATING TO THE LEVY
AND DISTRIBUTION OF A SPECIAL FIRE TAX IN
THE THIRD, FIFTH AND THE FIRST PRECINCT OF
THE FOURTEENTH ELECTION DISTRICTS OF
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, AND PROVIDING FOR A
REFERENDUM OR PETITION THEREON.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 605A (a) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Fire Companies", be and it is
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that
a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section 605B
thereof, Sections 605A and 605B having been amended by
Chapter 170 of the Acts of 1949, said new sub-section to be
known as Sub-section (i), to follow immediately after Sub-
section (h)of said section, and all to read as follows:
HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED, WITH
AMENDMENTS, AND THAT THREE NEW SUB-SEC-
SECTIONS BE AND THEY ARE HEREBY ADDED TO
