SECTION 605B THEREOF, SECTIONS 605A AND 605B
HAVING BEEN AMENDED BY CHAPTER 170 OF THE
ACTS OF 1949, SAID NEW SUB-SECTIONS TO BE
KNOWN AS SUB-SECTIONS (I), (J) AND (K), RESPEC-
TIVELY, AND TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER SUB-
SECTION (H) OF SAID SECTION, AND ALL TO READ
AS FOLLOWS:
605A. (a) The provisions of this section shall apply to and
be effective in the following election districts of Prince George's
County: 6th, 12th, 18th, 20th, 2nd, 9th, 21st, [and] 1st, 3RD,
THE 1ST PRECINCT OF THE 14TH [. ] and 5th.
605B.
(i) In the 5th Election District the proceeds of said tax shall
be paid by the County Commissioners semi-annually to the
Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. AND TO THE
ALLENTOWN ROAD VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT,
EACH TO RECEIVE ONE-HALF OF SUCH PROCEEDS.
(J) IN THE 3RD ELECTION DISTRICT THE PRO-
CEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL BE PAID BY THE COUN-
TY COMMISSIONERS SEMI-ANNUALLY TO THE MARL
BORO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC.
(K) IN THE FIRST PRECINCT OF THE 14TH ELEC-
TION DISTRICT THE PROCEEDS OF SAID TAX SHALL
BE PAID BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SEMI-
ANNUALLY TO THE BOWIE VOLUNTEER FIRE DE-
PARTMENT, INC.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That before any tax shall
be levied under the provisions of this Act, the question of such
levy shall first be submitted to the legally qualified voters of
the 5th Election District of Prince George's County at the
next general election to be held in November, 1952. There
shall be printed on the ballot to be used at said election the
title of this Act and underneath said title, on separate lines,
a square or box to the right of and opposite the words "For
Fire Tax", and a corresponding square to the right of and
opposite the words "Against Fire Tax", so that the voters
shall be able to designate by a cross-mark in the proper square
or box his or her decision for or against said fire tax. If a
majority of the votes cast in said election district shall be
"For Fire Tax", then said tax shall be levied and paid over
in accordance with the provisions of this Act, but if a majority
of the votes cast shall be "Against Fire Tax", then this Act
shall be of no effect and shall be null and void; provided,
