1402 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 496

simple interest, or interest therein of any kind, in and to
the properties situate in the First Election District of Balti-
more County, Maryland, (1) fronting about 300 feet on the
southerly side of Edmondson Avenue Extended, and located
approximately 3450 feet west of Rolling Road, containing
acres of land, more or less, and bounded by property
known as the Bragg Home for Boys owned by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore, (2) situated on the north-
east side of Maiden Choice Lane immediately adjacent on
the southeast to the public school property now owned by
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and containing
approximately 1. 2 acres of land, (3) a strip of land 16 feet
wide reserved for a private road extending irregularly 1400
feet, more or less, from the southerly side of Edmondson
Avenue Extended through the Bragg Home for Boys prop-
erty now owned by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
on the southerly side of Edmondson Avenue Extended.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, a munici-
pal corporation of the State of Maryland, is hereby author-
ized and empowered to acquire for the establishment, opera-
tion and maintenance thereon for public parental school pur-
poses, by gift, purchase or condemnation, the fee simple inter-
est, or interest therein of any kind, in and to the property
situate in the First Election District of Baltimore County,
Maryland, and described as follows:

The First thereof beginning at a point on the northeast
side of Maiden Choice Lane at its intersection with the south-
east outline of the parcel of land now owned by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore, running thence along said
southeasternmost outline northeasterly 673 feet, more or less,
to the southerly side of Catonsville Short Line Railroad,
thence along said Railroad easterly 167 feet, more or less,
thence southwesterly 776 feet, more or less, to the place of
beginning.

Containing 1. 2 acres of land, more or less.

The Second thereof beginning on the southerly side of
Edmondson Avenue Extended at a point distant 3450 feet,
more or less, westerly from Rolling Road, thence along the
southerly side of Edmondson Avenue Extended westerly 300
feet, more or less, to the parcel of land now owned by the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, thence binding along
said last mentioned property the three following lines, south-
erly 345 feet, more or less, easterly 297 feet, more or less, and
northerly 345 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.
