ter 558 of the Acts of 1949, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
332B. The funds received by the Linthicum Heights Com-
munity Fire Company shall be used for the purpose of purchas-
ing, repairing, replacing, operating and maintaining its fire
fighting equipment and apparatus and the housing of the
same, provided, however, that no payment or disbursement of
any of said funds shall be made by any such fire company or
the Treasurer thereof without the approval of its Board of
Directors. The amount and type of equipment of said fire
company shall conform to the standards prescribed by the
Anne Arundel County Volunteer Fire Association and no reso-
lution, regulation or by-law shall be passed by said fire com-
pany limiting or restricting the territory within said precinct
of said election district within which it will respond to
emergency or fire calls. The Board of Directors of the Lin-
thicum Heights Community Fire Company shall be permitted
to reimburse from any of the funds received under this
Special Fire Tax the Ferndale Fire Department for any
service performed thereby in the 2nd Precinct of the 5th
Election District. PAY TO THE FERNDALE FIRE COM-
PANY FROM ANY FUNDS RECEIVED UNDER THIS
SPECIAL FIRE TAX, THAT PORTION OF TAXES DE-
RIVED FROM THE SECOND PRECINCT OF THE FIFTH
ELECTION DISTRICT, NOW SERVED BY THE SAID
FERNDALE FIRE COMPANY.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
