Street, thence westerly along Washington Street to West
Street, thence westerly on the west side of West Street to its
intersection with Southgate Avenue, thence southeasterly down
the west side of West Street to Lafayette Avenue, thence south-
easterly to Shaw Street, thence southeasterly on Shaw Street
to Dean Street, thence along Dean Street to Cathedral Street,
thence northeasterly on Cathedral Street to West Street,
thence back to Church Circle at point of beginning;

PARCEL NO. 3. AN AREA BOUNDED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING FOR THE SAME AT THE INTERSECTION
FORMED BY THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF COLLEGE
AVENUE AND THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF KING
GEORGE STREET; AND RUNNING FROM THENCE AND
WITH THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF KING GEORGE
STREET TO THE INTERSECTION FORMED BY THE
NORTHEAST SIDE OF SAID STREET WITH THE
SOUTHEAST SIDE OF WAGNER STREET; THENCE
WITH THE SAME IN A NORTHEASTERLY DIRECTION
TO THE INTERSECTION OF THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF
WAGNER STREET AND THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF
HANOVER STREET; THENCE WITH THE SAME, IN A
SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION TO THE INTERSECTION
OF THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF HANOVER STREET AND
THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF COLLEGE AVENUE;
THENCE WITH THE SAME IN A SOUTHWESTERLY
DIRECTION TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING;

the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis (hereinafter
referred to as the "City") is hereby authorized and empowered
to borrow on its full faith and credit at any time, and from
time to time, an amount or amounts, in addition to any exist-
ing and outstanding indebtedness of said City, not exceeding
in the aggregate Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300, -
000. 00), and to evidence such borrowing by its serial maturity
general obligation bonds issued upon the full faith and credit
of the City.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said bonds may be
issued at such times and for such amounts, within the limita-
tions above set forth, as may be fixed by one or more ordi-
nances of the City, and, notwithstanding any other law to
the contrary, no referendum of, or approval by, the qualified
voters of the City on the issuance of said bonds or the in-
curring of indebtedness for the purposes above set forth shall
be required as a condition precedent to the passage of any
such ordinance, or to the borrowing of said money and the
issuance of any such bonds. The City may fix by ordinance the
form and tenor of any such bonds, the rate or rates of interest
