between 1 P. M. and 4 P. M. each day, except Sundays and
legal holidays, and except on Saturdays when he shall be
present between the hours of 9 A. M. and 12 o'clock noon;
provided further that said trial magistrate shall sit at Man-
chester, Mt. Airy, Taneytown, Union Bridge and Sykes-
ville at such times as may reasonably be necessary or ex-
pedient or as the public business may require.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect May 7, 1951.

(Senate Bill 227)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
sections 287 (b) (4) and 287 (b) (5) of Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Register of Wills, " as
said Section 287 was amended by Chapter 690 of the
Acts of 1949, increasing the compensation of the Regis-
ter of Wills of Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section 287 (b) (4) and 287 (b) (5) of Article 93
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Register of Wills, "
as said section 287 was amended by Chapter 690 of the
Acts of 1949, be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(b).
(4). The Register of Wills of [Dorchester], Harford,
Kent, Queen Anne's, Cecil and Talbot Counties shall each
be entitled to receive the annual salary of $3, 600.
