AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
96 (c) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title
"Trial Magistrates System, " as said section was amended
by Chapter 633 of the Acts of 1949, relating to the distribu-
tion of fines, penalties and forfeitures in the Trial Magis-
trates' Courts of Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 96 (c) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace, "
sub-title "Trial Magistrates System, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 6i33 of the Acts of 1949, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(c) In Washington, Worcester, Prince George's, St. Mary's,
Montgomery, Allegany, Anne Arundel, Calvert and Carroll
counties the County Commissioners shall, within a reasonable
time, pay to the several incorporated municipalities of said
counties all fines, penalties and forfeitures received by them
arising from the violation of the ordinances of any of the said
incorporated municipalities; it being the intention that, al-
though the fines, penalties and forfeitures received by the
County Commissioners are to be remitted to the municipalities
in the proportions named, the costs or fees imposed and col-
lected by said Trial Magistrates and remitted to the County
Commissioners, are to be retained by said County Commis-
sioners. The County Commissioners of Prince George's County
shall remit the said fines, penalties and forfeitures to the
municipalities of Prince George's County without deducting
the expenses incurred by the said County for feeding and main-
taining persons charged with violations of the ordinances of
the said municipalities.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
