Section 107C, to follow immediately after Section 107B
of said Article 1, as said Section 107B was amended by
Chapter 267 of the Acts of 1949 and to be under the
sub-title "County Commissioners, " providing for an addi-
tional supplementary retirement allowance to certain
former school teachers in Allegany County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 1
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Allegany County, " said new section to be
known as Section 107C, to follow immediately after Section
107B of said Article 1, as said Section 107B was amended
by Chapter 267 of the Acts of 1949 and to be under the
sub-title "County Commissioners, " and to read as follows:

107C. In addition to the payments provided for in Sec-
tion 107B above, the County Commissioners of Allegany
County are hereby authorized and empowered to pay the
further and additional amount of $8. 00 each month to each
of the retired teachers who are eligible to receive payments
under the provisions of said Section 107B. The County
Commissioners shall levy such additional sum as may be
required to pay such amount to each of said teachers., IF
THEY DETERMINE TO PAY THE SAME.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
