CHAP. 72.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the said Henry Feete be, and he is
hereby authorised and empowered to convey the lands
and premises described in said last will and testament
unto the said Samuel G. Harbaugh, his heirs and as-
signs forever.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That a deed executed for
said lands and premises by said Henry Feete. to the
said Samuel G. Harbaugh and his heirs, shall be valid
to all intents and purposes; provided it be duly acknow-
ledged and recorded according to law in such case made
and provided.

CHAPTER 72.

Confirmation.

An additional supplement to the act, entitled, an act for
the despatch of business in, Baltimore county court.

1838.

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proviso to the fourth section of the
act of Assembly, passed at December session eighteen
hundred and thirty-four, chapter two hundred and
eleven, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if at the end of any
quarter year, or at the end of any year, or at any other
time, there shall remain or be in the hands of the clerk
of Baltimore county court, after he shall have paid over
to the Treasurer of the Western Shore, an amount equal
to the additional compensation authorised by the act of
December session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,
chapter one hundred and twenty-seven, entitled, an act
for the compensation of the Judges of Baltimore county
court, any surplus, or excess or excesses of monies re-
ceived by him under the provisions of the act passed at
December session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight,
chapter one hundred and sixty one. to which this is a
supplement, or under any provision of any of the sup-
plements to said original act, or of any other act mak-
