An act to authorize John Milburn to bring into this
State, a negro slave for life.
|

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall,
and may be lawful for John Milburn to bring into this
State, a negro man named Nace, a slave for life, the
property of the said John Milburn; provided, that with-
in thirty days after such removal, the said John Mil-
burn shall cause to be recorded in the office of the clerk
of Saint Mary's County Court, the name and sex of
the said negro slave so removed.

An act to compensate Robert B. A. Tate, for extra ser-
vices as clerk of the Levy court, of Queen Anne's
county.
|

1838.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Treasurer, of the Levy court of Queen Anne's
county, pay to Robert B. A. Tate, the sum of one hun-
dred dollars, for extra services rendered by him as
clerk of said court, in the year eighteen hundred and
thirty seven.
