hereby authorised to return all writs, process and in-
quisitions, executed, on partly executed, by the said
late Sheriff, in his life time; and that said Bennett
Gilbert is further authorised to sign the name of said
late Sheriff to such returns, and that such returns have
the same effect in law, as if the same had been signed
and made by said late Sheriff, at the times at which
such writs, process and inquisitions ought to have been
returned.

An additional supplement to an act authorising Henry
Shafer, George Shafer, and Henry J. Shafer, to dis-
tribute their estate by lot, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty four, chapter one hun-
dred and four.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act to which this is an additional supplement
be, and the same is hereby continued in force until the
seventeenth day of February, in the year eighteen hun-
dred and thirty nine.

An act to divorce John McMillan, of the City of Balti-
more, from his wife, Mary Ann McMillan.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John McMillan, of the City of Baltimore, be, and
he is hereby declared to be divorced from his wife,
Mary Ann McMillan, a vinculo matrimonii.
