Resolution in favour of the present Governor of Mary-
land.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised to pay to the present Governor, out of
any monies not otherwise appropriated, the sum of
twelve hundred and forty-four dollars, in addition to
the salary already provided by law; and that he be re-
quired to reside at the seat of Government.

Resolution in favour of Barbara Ruark.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised and required, to pay to Barbara Ruark,
the widow of James Ruark, out of any unappropriated
money in the Treasury, the half pay of a private, dur-
ing her life, as further remuneration for his services
during the revolutionary war.

Resolution releasing James Dukes and Jiles Hicks, of
Caroline County, from the payment of certain In-
terest therein mentioned.
WHEREAS, it was the intention of this General As-
sembly, to have included in the resolution which passed
on the seventh day of March, the names of all the se-
suritics to the bond or bonds of Marcy Fountain, for
the years eighteen hundred and twenty-five and eigh-
teen hundred and twenty-six, but as it appears two of
them were omitted, viz: — James Dukes and Jiles
Hicks: — Therefore.
