Resolution requiring the Armorer at the city of Annapo-
lis, to deliver certain arms to Capt. Henry McKinnell,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Armorer at Annapolis, be, anil he is hereby direct-
to deliver to Captain Henry McKinnell or his order,
fusees or small muskets, not exceeding seventy five in
number, upon bond being given by him, to be approved
by the Adjutant General.

Resolution relative to the loan negotiated by virtue of
the act of December, eighteen hundred and thirty
five, for the Promotion of Internal Improvement.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the act, for the Promotion of Internal Improvements,
passed in June eighteen hundred and thirty six, chap-
ter three hundred and ninety-five, provides, that upon
the performance of certain conditions therein mention-
ed, the Treasurer of the Western Shore shall subscribe
to the capital stock of the Chesapeake and Ohio Ca-
nal Company, and to the capital slock of the Balti-
more and Ohio Rail Road Company, the sum of three
millions of dollars each, and pay for the same in the
manner and upon the terms prescribed in said act.
Resolved, That the said conditions having been com-
plied with, and the Treasurer having subscribed to the
stock of each of those companies the sum of three mil-
lions of dollars, as required by said act, the said sub-
scriptions are now binding upon the State, if the sums
necessary for the payment of the same can be obtain-
ed upon the conditions therein mentioned,
Resolved, That according to those terms, certifi-
cates of stock or bonds of the State, to the amount of
eight millions of dollars were to be sold by commis-
sioners to be appointed for that purpose, at a premi-
um of twenty per cent, and the money arising from
