RESOLUTIONS.

No. 12.

Passed Feb. 16,
1838.

Resolution directing the Treasurer for the Western
Shore to pay to Members of the Council each the
sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is
hereby directed to pay to each Member of the Council
to the Governor, elected during the present session,
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, current mo-
ney, out of any unappropriated money in the Treasu-
ry, in lieu of all other compensation for their official
services.

Passed Feb. 13,
1838.

Resolution in favor of Captain James C. Ninde, of
the city of Baltimore, making a requisition on the
Adjutant General for such arms, implements, and
equipments as be necessary for an artillery com-
pany.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
captain James C. Ninde, of the Eagle Artillerists, of
Baltimore, be authorised to make a requisition on the
Adjutant General of Maryland for such arras, imple-
ments and equipments as are necessary for an artillery
company; and that on such requisition being made,
accompanied by the bond of the company officers,
with security, to be approved by the Adjutant Gener-
al, it shall be the duty of the Adjutant General to de-
liver, as speedily as possible, in the city of Baltimore,
to the said captain of the Eagle Artillerist, or his suc-
cessors, such arms, implements and equipments as he
or they may, from time to time, demand; provided, the
said company shall, at no time, be in possession of a
greater number of arms, implements and equipments
than is absolutely necessary for an artillery company
