A further additional supplement to the act, entitled, an
act for the better regulation of the Militia, of the City
of Baltimore, passed at December session, eighteen hun-
dred and twenty three, chapter one hundred and
eighty-eight.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the parades of the First Light Division
of Maryland Volunteers shall hereafter take place as
follows: — Regimental inspection, first Monday in May,
two o'clock, P. M.; brigade parade, first Monday in
June, two o'clock, P. M.; company parade, twelfth of
September, night o'clock. A. M.; division review, nine-
teenth of October, nine o'clock, A. M.; and if either of
said two last parades happens on Sunday, it shall take
place at the same hour on the following day.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That at the May, June
and September parades, the commanding officer of the
division, as soon as the parade is formed at the place
appointed in Division orders, shall forthwith hand over
to the commanding officer of brigades, the command of
their respective brigades, and the commanding officers
of brigades at the May and September parades, shall
forthwith hand over to the commanding officers of
regiments, the command of their respective regiments,
and said commanding officers of regiments at the Sep-
tember parade shall forthwith hand over to the com-
manding officers of companies, the command of their
respective companies.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all certificates of
membership issued to members of volunteer companies
in said division, shall be limited to expire on the first
day of March next, following the date of said certi-
ficates.
