seven.

CHAPTER 324.

CHAP. 325.

An act relating to a Road authorised to be opened by an
act passed at December session eighteen hundred and
thirty-two, chapter one hundred, and fifty-eight, and
its supplements.

Passed Mar. 29,
1838.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the papers and proceedings relating to the
road authorised to be located and opened by the act
passed at December session eighteen hundred and
thirty-two, chapter one hundred and fifty-eight, and
its supplements, now on file in the office of clerk of
Frederick county court, be, by the said clerk, speedily
and safely transmitted to the clerk of Carroll county
court, to be by him safely kept and preserved; and
that the commissioners of the tax of Carroll county
be, and they are hereby authorised and required to
provide for and pay all the expenses and cost of loca-
ting and opening said road, incurred subsequent to
the erection of Carroll county, which may be hereaf-
ter incurred, and to do and transact all matters and
things, in, about and relating to said road, which the
levy court of Frederick county were authorised to do.

CHAPTER 325.

Papers to be

transmitted,

An act to confirm a certain Deed therein mentioned.

Passed Mar. 29,
1838.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed bearing date the twenty-fourth day of
August, eighteen hundred and fifteen, executed by
William R. Dawson, then clerk of the tax for Allega-
ny county, to William McMahon, for a lot of ground,
number ninety-nine, in the town of Cumberland, be,
and the same is hereby confirmed and declared valid,
to all intents and purposes, to convey the fee simple

Deed confirmed.
