CHAP. 211.
Descent.
|
deemed to have had, the same effect and validity as if
he were a native citizen of this State; and if the said
John Armstrong shall die intestate, all his right, title,
estate and interest in any such lands, shall in virtue of
this act, descend to and vest in such person or persons,
residing in the United States, if any, as would be heir
or heirs to him, if a citizen under the laws of this
State.

An act to confirm an act, entitled, an act to repeal all
that part of the Constitution and Form of Government
as relates to the division of Washington County into
eight separate election districts, and for other pur-
poses.

Confirmed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act of Assembly, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and thirty-six, chapter one hundred
and forty-eight, entitled, an act to repeal all that part
of the Constitution and Form of Government as relates
to the division of Washington county into eight sepa-
rate election districts, and for other purposes, be, and
it is hereby ratified and confirmed.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to prevent the
unnecessary accumulation of Costs in Civil Suits,
passed at December session eighteen hundred and
thirty-five, chapter one hundred and sixty-seven.

Explanatory.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
and it is hereby declared, that the first section of the
act to which this is a supplement, was intended to em-
brace, and does apply to all bonds of every nature and
kind whatsoever, whether the same be with collateral
condition or otherwise; and the said section of said act
shall be so taken and construed in the courts of this
State in all cases pending or to arise therein; as well
