CHAP. 905.

SEC.6. And, be it enacted, That the said commis-
sioners shall have power to change the location of said
road as laid down in the aforegoing section; provided,
that in their opinion it would be for the benefit of all
parties immediately concerned, and of the county at
large, to adopt a location for the contemplated road
different from that specified in this act.

An act to authorise Thomas W. Overly to introduce
certain slaves into this State, from the State of Vir-
ginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Thomas W. Overly is hereby authorised to in-
troduce from Virginia, into this State, the following
negroes, slaves for life, viz: Charlotte Long, aged
about twenty-two years, Nancy Long, aged about
twenty years, ami her infant child, aged about eighteen

months; provided said Thomas W. Overly shall in all
respects comply with the requisitions of the act of As-
sembly, passed at December session eighteen hundred
and thirty-three, chapter eighty-seven, so far as the
same may be applicable.

An act relating to Poor Children in Queen Anne's
County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of the school fund in Queen
Ann's county be, and they are hereby authorised and
directed to pay over to the trustees of school district
number twenty-two, within the limits of which is situ-
ated the almshouse of said county, such sum of money
in addition to the proportion which the said school dis-
trict is now entitled to receive, as may be necessary to
