1839.

CHAPTER 46.
An act for the benefit of the Crier of Frederick county court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act, the
collector of Frederick county, be and he is hereby directed
and required to pay over to the crier of Frederick county
court, on presentation of his account, certified by the clerk
of said county, the amount which may be due him for his
attendance on the different county courts, as also for at-
tendance on the different chancery terms of said court, im-
mediately after their adjournment.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the levy court of Fre-
derick county, shall annually levy upon said county such
sums of money as in their judgment may be. necessary for
the payments authorised by this act, and also by an act,
entitled an act for the benefit of the person who warms
the court room and has the care of the fires in Frederick-
county court.

CHAPTER 47.

An act to repeal an act, passed at December session eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-seven, chapter three hundred
and thirty-three.

Passed Jan. 15,
1840.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and thirty-seven, chapter three hundred and
thirty-three, entitled an act to guard against frauds
in the exercise of the elective franchise in the city of Bal-
timore, and to establish with greater certainty the rules
of evidence to be observed at all elections in said city,
commonly called the Registry Law, be and the same is
hereby repealed.
