work an extinguishment, &c. of the cause

have been rendered, as respects the liabili-

ty of the partners, &c. not bound by such

judgments, but they shall remain liable to

be sued as if their original responsibility

had been joint and several, but one satis-

faction of the debt or demand shall be

made,
