Resolution in favor of J. Harris, Clerk of Saint Mary's
County Court.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be and he is hereby
authorised and directed to pay to Joseph Harris, clerk of
Saint Mary's county court, the sum of thirty-three dol-
lars and forty cents, fees due him as clerk of said county,
from the State.

Resolution in favor of Thomas C. Nichols, and others, of
Talbot County; and John Parvin, and others, of Dor-
chester County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be and he is hereby
directed and required to pay, out of any unappropriated
money in the treasury, to Thomas C. Nichols, and others,
of Talbot county; and John Parvin, and others, of Dor-
chester county, such sum or sums as shall appear to be
due them by the certificate of the clerk of Baltimore city
court, for attending in said court, in the year eighteen
hundred and thirty-eight, as witnesses in the case of the
State of Maryland, against William Stewart, indicted for
the murder of his father.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be and he is hereby
authorised to pay to John Nick. Watkins, Chief Clerk of
the House of Delegates, and Joseph H. Nicholson, Chief
Clerk of the Senate, the sum of one hundred dollars each;
and to George W. Sherwood, Assistant Clerk of the House
of Delegates, and John N. Watkins, Assistant Clerk of
the Senate, the sum of one hundred dollars each; and to
