CHAPTER 318.
An act to authorise the Commissioners of the Town of Havre
de-Grace, to sell a School House, and for other purposes,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of the town of Havre-de-Grace
in Harford county, be and they are hereby authorised to
sell the lot of ground and the school house erected there-
on, on the south east corner of Union and St. Clair streets,
and with the proceeds of said sale to purchase another
lot and erect a suitable school house thereon in any part
of said town in which they may deem proper.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the lot of ground so
to be purchased as aforesaid and the house erected there-
on, shall be exempt from all tax of whatsoever description.

An act for the benefit of Nelly Sanders, of Frederick
County.
WHEREAS, by a deed executed the fifteenth day of
February, eighteen hundred and thirty-four, by Brook
Baker and wife to George Coats and Nelly Sanders, cer-
tain lands in Frederick county is conveyed to the said
George Coats and Nelly Sanders and their heirs, and the
said George Coats being now dead, without heirs and in-
testate, it is doubtful whether an undivided moiety of the
land does not belong to the State.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all right and title which the State has acquired to
said land, by reason of the death of the said George
Coats, intestate and without heirs, be and the same is
hereby released and transferred to the said Nelly Sanders.
