Divorce.

An act to divorce Mary M. Stackhouse, of Cecil County,
from her husband John Stackhouse.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Mary M. Stackhouse, of Cecil county, be and she is
hereby divorced from her husband, John Stackhouse,
a vinculo matrimonii.

CHAPTER 311.

Passed Mar. 20,
1840.

An act to authorise the Orphans Court of Calvert County
to admit to probat the last will and testament of Mary
Wood.

Preamble.

Authorised to
admit will, &c.
to probat.

Proviso.

WHEREAS, it is represented that Mary Wood, late of
Calvert county, deceased, made and duly executed her
last will and testament, and that Joseph Wood, one of the
subscribing witnesses is since dead, and Absolom Thorn,
the other subscribing witness is now resident of the State
of Louisiana, and that the orphans court of Calvert county
has refused to admit the said will to probat: — Therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the orphans
court of Calvert county, be and they are hereby authori-
sed and required to admit the will of said Mary Wood to
probat in their court; provided, they shall be satisfied of
the execution thereof by the said testator, either by proof
of her hand writing, or of the hand writing of one or
more of the subscribing witnesses thereto.

CHAPTER 312.

Passed Mar. 19,
1840.

Divorce.

An act to divorce Louis H. Gouley, of the City of Balti-
more, from his wife Mary Gouley.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Louis H. Gouley, of the city of Baltimore, be and
he is hereby divorced from his wife Alary Gouley, a vinculo

matrimonii.
