ble property of their respective counties, not exceeding
four hundred dollars in all, the one half of which sum to
be levied by the justices of the levy court of Frederick
county, and the other half by the commissioners of tax for
Carroll county, for the purpose of building a bridge over
Sam's creek, on the public road leading from Johnsville, in
Frederick county, to Union Bridge, in Carroll county.

CHAP. 270.
How levied.
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said levy court and
the said commissioners of tax, may at their discretion,
jointly contract with any person or persons to erect said
bridge, of such materials as they in their judgment may
think proper, and may require said contractor or contrac-
tors to give bond with sufficient security, to be approved
by said levy court and said commissioners of tax, for the
faithful performance of said contract; and when said bridge
is finished, it shall be a free bridge.

more, from his wife Mary Kimball.

That Daniel K. Kimball, of the city of Baltimore, be and
he is hereby divorced from his wife Mary Kimball, a vin-
