or body politic, shall not at any time hold or possess pro-
perty, real, personal or mixed, exceeding the sum of ten

SEC. 2. find be it enacted, That the said company and
their successors by the aforesaid name, shall forever here-
after be able and capable in law, to sue and be sued,
plead and be impleaded, answer and be answered, de-
fend and be defended, in all or any court of justice what-
soever; and also to have, make and use a common seal,
and the same to break, alter and renew at pleasure, and
to assemble and meet at such times and places as they

timore, from far husband James Piper Redding.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Eliza Ann Redding, of the city of Balti-
more, be and she is hereby divorced from her husband
James Piper Redding, a vinculo matrimonii.

Divorce.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all the estate, both real
and personal, of which the said Eliza Ann Redding is now
seized or possessed, or to which she is now or may here-
after be entitled by gift, descent, bequest, inheritance or de-
vise, or to which her husband, the said James Piper Red-
ding, is or might be entitled by virtue of such marriage,
