CHAP. 174.
Proviso.
|
ground in Hagerstown, which was sold by William Hause
for and on behalf of the heirs of Christiana Woorster to
Elizabeth Lawrence; provided, said court shall be satis-
fied that such sale was fairly made and was advantageous
to the said heirs at law.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said court may order
the answers of infants to be taken to such petitions as
similar answers are now taken to bills in chancery, and
may order affidavits to be taken of the fairness of the
sale, and to prove that such sale was advantageous to the

said heirs at law; and upon being satisfied that the said
sale was fairly made, and thai such sale was advantageous
for all parties concerned, the said court shall decree a
confirmation of such sale and a conveyance of said lot,
and appoint a trustee to make a conveyance thereof; and
such decree and conveyance shall pass in fee simple to the
said Elizabeth, all the estate and interest of all the per-
sons who may le parties to such decree; and said court
shall dispose of the proceeds of such sale in the same
manner as if the rule had been made under a decree of
said court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Edward Shriver, Robert Johnston, George
Markell, A. B. Hanson, William C. Russell, David B.
Devitt, Samuel Carmac, George Hoskins, Thomas C.
Prince, Charles Shriver, David J. Markey, and others,
who are or raay hereafter become members thereof, be and
they are hereby declared to be one community, corpora-
tion and body politic forever hereafter, by the name and
