CHAPTER 128.

1840.

An act for the relief of John Frisby Wilmer, of Charles
County.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly that John Frisby Wilmer, of Charles county, is a
lunatic, without any visible means of support — Therefore,

ised &c.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Charles county, be and are hereby
authorized and required, to levy annually, on the assessa-
ble property of said county, for the benefit of the said John
Frisby Wilmer, a sum of money sufficient for his support
and maintenance at the Maryland Hospital, or some other
place better suited in the judgment of the said court to his

condition; provided, the said court shall not in any one
year levy a sum exceeding one hundred and fifty dollars.

CHAPTER 129.

1840.

An act to divorce Mary Ann Sherer, from her husband
David N. Sherer.

Divorce.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Mary Ann Sherer, of Frederick county,
be and she is hereby divorced from her husband David
N. Sherer, a vinculo matrimonii.

To assume mai-

den name.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Mary Ann
Sherer shall henceforth be called and known by her maiden
name Mary Ann Shryock, and shall be able to contract
and be contracted with in all respects as if she had not
been married to the said David N. Sherer.

CHAPTER 130.

1840.

An act to divorce Patrick McNally, from his wife Mary
McNally.

Divorce.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Patrick McNally, of the city of Baltimore, be and
he is hereby divorced from his wife Mary McNally, a vin-
