RESOLUTIONS.

thirty-eight pounds nine shillings and two-pence, principal and interest, being the amount of the depreciation
pay due said John Philips, as appears by the statement of the auditor-general herewith submitted.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to John Brewer, chief clerk to the house of dele-
gates, the sum of sixty dollars; to John S. Skinner, assistant clerk to the house of delegates, the sum of one
hundred dollars; to Thomas Rogers, chief clerk to the senate, the sum of thirty dollars; and to James Har-
wood, assistant clerk to the senate, the sum of sixty dollars, as a further compensation for their extraordinary
services.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to Henry Thompson, the sum of fifty dollars, for
taking care of the senate chamber and furniture thereof.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to John Sullivan, the sum of sixty dollars, for taking
care of the furniture of the house of delegates.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay unto John Sullivan, the sum of thirty dollars, for
his services for taking care of the furniture in the senate chamber, after the death of Edward Holland, late
door-keeper.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be and he is hereby authorised and directed, to pay to
Doctor William E. Pinkney, of the city of Annapolis, or his order, the sum of thirty dollars, out of any unap-
propriated money in the treasury.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to the examiner-general of the western shore, such
sum in addition to his fees for the present year, as shall amount to the sum of three hundred pounds current
money, and the examiner-general shall lay before the next session of assembly, the amount of tees by him re-
ceived in this year, on oath.

RESOLVED, That the governor and council be authorised and requested to have printed for the use of the
state, one thousand copies of the report made by the chancellor at the present session, of the English statutes
and those of Great-Britain, and that they be empowered to direct such alterations in the arrangement of the
matter therein contained as they may judge necessary, in order to have the said printing done on the most rea-
sonable terms.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to John Sullivan, the sum of fifty dollars, as mes-
senger to the court of chancery.

RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be and he is hereby required to pay to each member of
the legislature attending on this day, two day's allowance in addition to what was allowed on the journal of ac-
counts, and also two day's allowance to the officers of each house.
