No. 66.

1839.

Resolution directing the payment into the Treasury,

of certain monies, by the Maryland Hospital.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the President and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital,

be, and they are hereby authorised and required to pay

over, annually, into the Treasury of the Western Shore,
all monies that they shall have in hand at the close of

every year, over and above supporting said institu-

tion, and the debts and liabilities thereof.

And be it further resolved, That the president and
visitors of the Maryland Hospital are hereby requir-
ed to report to the Legislature annually, the State and
condition of said institution and the fiscal concerns
thereof, and also all monies received and disbursed for
the maintenance and support of the said institution
from all sources whatsoever.

Resolution in relation to the payment of Newspapers.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western shore pay to George G.
Brewer, chief clerk of the House of Delegates, and to
Joseph H. Nicholson, chief clerk of the Senate, out of
any unappropriated money in the Treasury, the a-
mount of the several accounts that may from time to
time be presented to him by said clerks, for newspa-
pers furnished the members of the Legislature during
the present session, and that he also pay the amount
for postage upon letters forwarded and received by
said clerks, relative to the duties of their respective
offices.
