Resolution in favor of the Rev. M. McElheny, and the
Rev. Mr. Vinton.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to the Rev.
Mr. McEleny and the Rev. Mr. Vinton, or order,
one hundred and fifty dollars each, us a compensation
for their services, during the present session of the
Legislature.

Resolution in favor of the Maryland Hospital.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore of Maryland, be,
and he is hereby authorised and directed to pay to the
President and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital, or
to their order, the sum of thirty thousand dollars in
six equal annual payments, from and after the passage
of this resolution; to be by them applied for the bene-
fit and improvement of said Hospital; distinct refer-
ence being had, in making the improvements, to its
exclusive use as a Lunatic Asylum: provided, the said
president and visitors shall give bond and security, to
be approved by the Treasurer, for the faithful disburse-
ment and application of said sum of money; and also
provided, that one half of said institution shall here,
after he appropriated to the accommodation of pauper
lunatics of this State, who shall there he accommo-
dated and treated at the expense of the county so send-
ing such lunatic paupers; provided the same, shall not
exceed one hundred dollars for each pauper lunatic so
sent.
